The quest to follow in his father’s footsteps came with early hurdles. At 15, poor Brennan dislocated his kneecap, and that almost ruined his young career. Thankfully, he recovered.
In the year 2022, he helped his Dad fulfil his lifelong dream by beating Sheffield United and winning the Championship playoff. By doing that, David Johnson’s 19-year-old football ghost was put to rest.
