The turning point in Japhet Tanganga’s football maturation process was made possible by the late Ugo Ehiogu, who was the coach of the Tottenham Hotspur U23 team before his death.

Nigerian-born Ugo died in April 2017 after a cardiac arrest at the Tottenham Hotspur training ground.
