On the 26th of April, his first game with the senior football team was in a cup match. He scored a hat trick and got his team to win 10-1 against Drøbak-Frogn, IL. Later, on the 21st of May, 2017, Larsen played his first league game as a substitute against Vålerenga. After that, the forward played with AC Milan’s youth team.
On the 1st of September, 2020, Jørgen got a four-year deal with the Dutch club Groningen. In his first game, he started and helped his team by making an assist, even though they lost 3-1 to PSV.
