Sofyan Amrabat won three trophies – KNVB Cup and Johan Cruyff Shield (twice) before deciding to leave Feyenoord. The Atlas Lion Midfielder found a new experience with Club Brugge, a club he felt would pave his way to join a large European team in one of the top five leagues.

Initially sent on loan to Hellas Verona, Sofyan Amrabat returned to Club Brugge after the departure of Arnaut Danjuma to Bournemouth.
