As a boy, Conor was seen as always competitive. All the time, the boy wanted to meet up with his older brother’s abilities and strengths.

Conor knew that being the last born of his family should not limit him. As a result, he became very fearless – in trying out new things.

Back then, Conor Gallagher’s parents would approve of him and his brothers to go play outside – mostly in a kids’ trampoline.

Dan, Jake, and Josh do their plays with a little fear in the minds of Lee and Samantha (their Dad and Mum). Conor’s case was something else.

Back then, you definitely have Conor to be careful if you put the boy on the kid’s trampoline.

This is because the English footballer was doing all sorts of backflips. Because of his athletic abilities, family members were of the view that he would take up gymnastics as a profession.

The Gallagher brothers played football in the nearby open fields and their family backyard in Great Bookham.

Also, the boys all had dreams and thanks to their determination, Dan, Jake, Josh and Conor have all enjoyed success in football.

More interestingly, Cobham’s Painshill Park was where Conor watched Chelsea stars – as they drove their exotic cars to train. Unlike friends who lived far away, faces of Legends like Frank Lampard, Ivorian Didier Drogba, Michael Essien, Salomon Kalou, etc, aren’t new to him.

The midfielder met the unexpected – just before he graduated from Blues Academy. First, it was this terrible knee injury that he overcame. Then came the most fearful year of his career (2018). That year, Conor Gallagher experienced a heart problem – that nearly ended his career.

It was a scary experience as Conor couldn’t even train. Severally, the poor boy was getting out of breath. There was no other way for Conor to continue football, and the only way out was through surgery.

To fix what medical professionals termed a heart arrhythmias disease, Conor underwent a 45-minute heart surgery. With his parents and family members standing by him, the youngster recovered and got back to doing what he loved.

Post Recovery – Heart Problem:

Becoming even stronger, Conor Gallagher went all the way to dominate the game.

With his vision, pinpoint, accurate passing, ball movement and positional sense, Chelsea FC had no choice – but to award him as their 2018/2019 Player of the Year. The England U-17 World Cup and Chelsea U-18 Glory:

His performances with Chelsea earned Conor an England youth call for the U17 World Cup. Notable stars in that English squad include the likes of Morgan Gibbs-White (Wolves), Phil Foden (Man City), Callum Hudson-Odoi (Chelsea), Emile Smith Rowe (Arsenal) and Jadon Sancho (Man City), etc.

England defeated Brazil to go into a final where they challenged a Spanish side that had stars like Ferran Torres (Valencia), Eric Garcia (Manchester City). They were no match for England as Spain got hammered 5-2 – to see the future Three Lions stars lifting the trophy.

The following season, Gallagher became a crucial member of Chelsea’s football club’s most successful U18s side, which went on to win four trophies. Remember Tariq Lamptey?.. he was among the quadripole winners.

Also, these trophies came in a single season under Morris. In fact, only Arsenal’s Fabio Vieira‘s FC Porto youth side could stop Conor Gallagher’s Chelsea team from achieving European glory (the 2018–19 UEFA Youth League trophy).

The Loan Journey:

In the middle of 2019, Chelsea sent young Conor on loan – to Charlton Athletic. Aside from his parents and brothers, the hardest thing about leaving Chelsea was missing the boys he had played with since he was young.

It is a confirmed belief that Chelsea academy stars who go on loan always come out very successful. The likes of Trevoh Chalobah (Lorient), Tammy Abraham (Aston Villa), Mason Mount (Derby), Thorgan Hazard (Zulte Waregem), Fikayo Tomori, etc. can attest to this.

At Charlton Athletic, Conor Gallagher became so loved by everyone. With only a few games in, the club fans had already composed a chant for his name.

Now, watch Conor Gallagher as he sings the song Charlton Athletic made for him. He is not a terrible singer, is he?

Conor Gallagher Biography – Success Story:

The England second tier (the Championship) often reaches a tense climax when teams face off.

More so, it is the ultimate starting point for academy graduates from top Premier League clubs. As expected, Gallagher was able to withstand the heat of the Championship.

Like many academy graduates, the boy got bullied by older players. Surviving the second division of English became a learning curve for him.

In the end, Conor became victorious, thanks to his assists and goals. Watch how he got bullied and then rose to see success.

As a way of rewarding the youngster’s hard work, the management of the English Championship blessed and honoured Gallagher. He won the English Football League’s Young Player of the Month award in August 2019.

Swansea Success Story:

From the depth of their heart, Charlton Athletic appreciated Chelsea for bringing one of their talented kids to play for them.

On 14 January 2020, the London club recalled Conor – in order to make him train with their first team and then take him out again on loan to Swansea.

The deal to join Swansea happened on the 15th of January 2020 – just before the COVID-19 lockdown. This was the first time Conor had to leave his family in another country – Wales.

The Premier League Success Story:

Gallagher once told Chelsea Media that his time at Swansea allowed him to be more creative as a footballer. Thanks to that, he finally met the goal of competing in the Premier League.

Initially, Conor Gallagher opted to remain close to his family in London, insisting on having a medical with Crystal Palace. A change of heart by the South London club saw them accepting Michy Batshuayi instead of Conor.

The action made by Crystal Palace gave Bilic the chance to reach out to his former West Ham teammate (Frank Lampard) – who was the then coach of Chelsea. That helped to smoothen Conor Gallagher’s loan move to The Hawthorns.

On this date – the 28th of November 2020, Gallagher hit an important milestone in his career.

To the joy of Conor Gallagher’s family, their boy scored his first premier league goal. Behold every angle of the amazing long-range goal.

The Crystal Palace Success Story:

Following the loan spell with the Baggies, Gallagher, in July 2021- joined the Eagles on a one-year loan deal. He grew from strength to strength in a team made up of cool names like Zaha, Odsonne Edouard (CF), Jean-Philippe Mateta, Danish star Joachim Andersen and Eberechi Èze.

At the time of creating Conor Gallagher’s Biography, he is now a force to reckon with – as far as Crystal Palace midfield is concerned.

He joins the likes of Tyrick Mitchell (LB), Michael Olise and Odsonne Edouard, who went to have a fine first season with the Eagles.

Scoring two goals against Westham and delivering a match-winning assist against Spurs proves that Conor has reached another level. A level that finds him worthy of a final Chelsea recall.

Without a doubt, Gallagher is indeed ready for the Chelsea first team. He is now worthy of competing with the likes of Mateo Kovacic and Mason Mount – for a starting place with the Blues senior squad. Playing for Chelsea always remains a dream.

Yes, the boy’s work rate is unreal, and the surrounding hype about him is still real. Just like Billy Gilmour, Conor deserves to be tested with Chelsea’s senior squad.

It is only a matter of time before Thomas Tuchel approves that. The rest, as we say of his Biography, is history.

Love life with Aine May Kennedy:

Aine May Kennedy is her name, and fans often refer to her as Conor Gallagher’s wife-to-be. Judging by her looks, you could tell what she does for an occupation.

Aine May is a Model, and as I write this Bio, she works with Pulse, a modelling agency in Liverpool, England.

It might interest you to know that Gallagher’s Girlfriend is Irish and not from England.

What does this mean?… It implies that Aine May’s parents and Conor Gallagher (either his Mum or Dad) have similar family origins. Now, let’s tell you about their dating history.

Aine May and Gallagher began dating each other a few days after Christmas – on the 27th of December 2018.

Since then, the love they have for each other has only grown stronger. Truth be told, you will probably not meet two people who are much weirder than Conor and May.

The Pronunciation Test – Gallagher failed:

Aside from being a model, Aine May finds time to entertain her fans through her YouTube channel.  Conor might be good in football … but definitely terrible at pronouncing certain words.

One thing is sure about their relationship. It is the fact that the love they have for each other is genuine. The fact that Aine May and Conor Gallagher have been dating for a while leaves no doubt that a wedding could be the next formal step.

Conor Gallagher Lifestyle:

Going on holidays with Aine May – especially at the faraway Portuguese seaside evokes vivid memories that lift his mood. Put simply, Conor Gallagher lives a healthy lifestyle.

The Car He Drives:

When it comes to comfort, especially during dessert tours, Conor Gallagher prefers the Desert Buggy High-Speed 4×4 Fast Race electric automobile. As observed here, this car has a legendary reputation for off-road ruggedness.

Outside vacation life, Conor Gallagher also has a deep love for other cars – especially the Land Rover Range Rover Evoque. He bought the car as a Christmas gift for his wife to be – Aine May Kennedy.

Conor Gallagher Family Life:

For members of his household, they still and will always see Conor as the baby of the house. This is a fun name often used to describe the last born of families. Josh Gallagher (Conor’s older brother) once said,

Mum still runs Conor’s bath when he’s home…

This section of Gallagher’s Biography reveals more about his parents and the rest of his family members. Without further ado, let’s begin.

About Conor Gallagher’s Father:

We know him as the Super-Dad with footballing sons. However, not many are aware that Lee Gallagher was a former footballer. Although he played the beautiful game (Sunday morning, grassroots football), Lee never took it seriously.

It was hard for Lee to deal with the reality of experiencing a failed career. Because of that, Lee became very hard on his sons by ensuring they practised day and night in his family’s medium-sized garden.

This is a statement from Josh, his son;

Our dad always emphasized the importance of standing up for ourselves, especially on the football pitch.

We started with seven-a-side goals, then moved to nine-a-side. When Conor got his contract at Chelsea, Dad even bought a full-sized 11-a-side metal goal.

About Conor Gallagher’s Mother:

Life doesn’t come with a manual, and neither does Samantha. The mother of four has a heart of gold and her love for her baby boy – Conor – has never been underrated or questioned. She stood and slept by Conor’s side during his heart surgery – never letting go of her baby boy.

Conor recalled, “I told my mum before the surgery, ‘I just want to get it over with so I can get back to working as hard as I can,’ and that’s exactly what I did.”

Similar to the Mums of Kalvin Phillips and Ivan Toney, Samantha Gallagher is the type who doesn’t rest until her footballing sons are comfortable with life outside the sport. We found out about this during Conor’s loan days with Swansea. Conor said this about his Mum.

About Conor Gallagher Brothers:

Josh, Dan and Jake made names of their own – as they all became professional footballers (midfielders). Among all brothers, Dan and Conor had more edge in their careers. The others played to a decent standard. Also, to note, they’ve all once faced each other.

Josh once lost with Corinthian-Casuals against Dan Gallagher’s AFC Wimbledon in an FA Cup game. Dan’s Leatherhead FC has also faced Jake’s team – Aldershot. Finally, Conor’s Chelsea under-23s side has previously played against Jake’s Aldershot.

The breadwinner and last born of the Gallagher family (Conor) have taken a different trajectory – unlike his brothers. Jake, Dan and Josh are now in the back seat, playing their own football and doing much of supporting for their little brother via WhatsApp.

Now let’s tell you some facts about these footballing brothers;

About Josh Gallagher:

He, alongside his twin brother (Jake), makes up the two legs of a diamond midfield formation. In simple terms, Josh Gallagher functions well as a right or left midfielder. Josh laid his career foundation in Fulham’s academy. The same goes for Jake, his twin.

Unfortunately, Josh’s time at Fulham was brief, leading him to play grassroots football. He later signed with Abbey Rangers of the Combined Counties League, which is in the 9th tier of English football.

As I write this Biography, Josh Gallagher no longer plays football at a professional level. He now earns his living in a school and runs his own coaching business – mostly in the evenings.

About Jake Gallagher:

A Man United fan by heart, the Central midfielder is a twin brother to Josh, and he is seven years Conor’s senior. Jake Gallagher appears to be the closest to Conor and the English media.

Like the rest of his siblings, Big brother (Jake) also became a professional footballer. He started his career at Fulham’s academy at the age of 16.

Moving on after graduation from the academy, Jake signed a scholarship and professional contract with Millwall. He played there before moving to Aldershot Town – where he faced (Conor’s U23 Chelsea) – his little brother. Away from football, Jake excels as a Chef.

Meet Conor Gallagher's older brother Jake. During this time with Aldershot Town - just after he faced his brother.

About Dan Gallagher:

He is the oldest son and child of Samantha and Lee. Unlike Conor, who plays in a central midfield position, Dan Gallagher is a defensive midfielder. He is very good at sweeping up opponents.

Thanks to a scholarship mode of entry, Dan Gallagher had a fruitful career with AFC Wimbledon before dropping into non-league football.

He first went on loan to Kingstonian, before going permanently with Leatherhead – where he faced Jake’s Aldershot.

Conor Gallagher Cousins:

Josh once revealed – via the athletic – that he has got a couple of them. And he, alongside his brothers, have a close relationship with their cousins. He further revealed that the Gallaghers are one big family – who do everything together.

Untold Facts:

Rounding up our Biography, we’ll use this concluding section to unveil more truths about the box-to-box midfielder. Now, let’s begin.

He hates washing dishes:

Conor Gallagher once revealed the hardest part of moving to Wales to play with Swansea was ‘learning how to wash up’.

He was really sad to discover his new home did NOT have a simple dishwasher. Because of that, he struggled with his culinary skills.

When I get home from training and matches, I say to myself ‘Oh no, I have to do those bloody dishes.

The story of Conor’s Swansea struggle is greatly covered in the Sun-UK – read full article there.

He was once a Goalkeeper:

While Speaking on a Saturday matchday programme, Conor revealed that at some point in his career, he got moved around to many positions. First, he played as a goalkeeper (just once), then at right-wing, right-back, and finally, at midfield. Conor once said about being a goalkeeper;

I played at the post for just one game because our goalkeeper was injured and didn’t turn up.

Finally, he became a Claude Makelele Boy:

Frank Lampard and John Terry (an idol to Alfie Gilchrist) were Conor’s absolute heroes growing up.

Upon graduating from the academy, Conor Gallagher became close to Chelsea’s technical mentor – the person of Claude Makelele. The former Blues legend looks after him to this day.

Salary Breakdown as Compared to the Average England Citizen:

The salary for a full-time UK employee is approximately £31,500. With this figure, it will take 75 for a full-time employee in the UK to work out Conor Gallagher’s annual salary.

Conor Gallagher Religion:

The footballer is yet to share any information about his beliefs. However, Conor Gallagher’s parents made him (through a middle name – John), and his brother (Dan AKA Daniel) bear Christian names. That places our odds in favour of him being a Christian.

Conor Gallagher Profile:

On the ground, he, alongside persons like Douglas Ruiz, possesses every attribute needed by the modern-day Central Midfielder.

This, however, is not the case – as reflected in his 2021 FIFA profile. If anyone deserves an 85 stamina, it definitely Conor. The Baller is good enough to reach the hights of Alexis Mac Allister and Nicolo Barella.

Conclusion:

Conor Gallagher is the baby of his footballing family. He is the youngest child of Lee and Samantha Gallagher’s four sons.

Conor grew up around three older brothers, including a twin and no sister. Early on, all siblings pledged their commitment to becoming footballers.

As an aspiring professional football, Conor’s path to a successful youth career wasn’t always straightforward.

First, it was his knees that threatened to halt his progress. Then, in 2018, after experiencing heart problems, the poor lad underwent a 45-minute surgery.

Thankfully, Conor fought his way and eventually thrived – despite all the uncertainties that came his way.

That victory over a heart condition didn’t come without support from his parents (Lee and Samantha) and older brothers (Dan, Jake and Josh).

Similar to what Jude Bellingham and Patrick Bamford have done, we expected Gallagher to be full of energy and enthusiasm for the future.

Especially in the fight to win an English call from Gareth Southgate. Not forgetting, he is eligible to play for Scotland and Ireland.
